This video was posted as a tribute to Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King for MLK day in 2015. The song ‘Dear Rosa’ is a song dedicated to Rosa Parks, written and composed by Michael, with a co-write by Nona Hendryxx. When Nona heard the song for the first timeshe decided that this song would be the first song to record for the long awaited reunion album of Labelle. This famous band, well known for their hit song ‘Lady Marmalade’ reunited to release their album ‘Back To Now’.
It has been a great honor to compose a song for such wonderful singers: Patti Labelle, Nona Hendryxx and Sarah Dash.
