I wrote this song in a studio in NY a few years ago while working with Nina Simone’s daughter Lisa and the song became sort of an ‘apology from someone suffering from depression to their loved ones’. I’ve decided to to redo this song for my own repertoire. It will take a few takes to get it right for sure, but with the amazing Miles Mosey on double bass what could go wrong?
